"FLATLANDS" - The first movie that promotes both the old and new age of Flatland * skateboarding!

A year ago, my company Cooper Productions LLC released the movie "Wheelin' in the Years - Part 1". Since then, I have received hundreds of requests from skaters around the world that want to see more of the Freestyle */Flatland footage that I added to the end of the movie. In addition, I also wanted to promote the growing interest of Flatland/Freestyle skateboarding, by allowing many other companies to use some scenes from the movie. This includes the scenes shown in the Playstation * Tony Hawk Pro Skater * 3 game, the Concrete Wave * TV Series, the new Rodney Mullen * videos... 

As the demand grew, I decided to make an all FLATLAND movie. I wanted to incorporate my never-before-seen footage of many of the legendary Pro Freestyle skaters of the past (Rodney Mullen, Pierre Andre', Per Welinder *...), as well as demonstrate the new technical aspects of Flatland skateboarding, by utilizing some of the best Pros of today. Rather than throwing together a bunch of video clips, I also wanted to capture the "EXPERIENCE" of Flatland skateboarding.

Recently in Boulder, Colorado * I was performing a demo and happened to meet the same filmmaker that created the Powell Peralta * Bones Brigade * movies in the 80's. INCREDIBLE!!!! I decided that this was fate!

We immediately began work together. I called up the three other Pro Riders on our Reverse Freestyle team (Kevin Harris, Lillis Akesson and Tim Byrne) and we all met in Colorado for the most amazing Flatland sessions * and video ever recorded! We used professional cameras, incorporated unique camera angles, panning techniques, amazing lighting and sound recording conditions and then spent another two months using the latest digital video editing software to tie in new original music scores and blend together this masterpiece of skateboard videography, .

In the end, we succeeded in capturing the EXPERIENCE we set out to achieve!
