Headlining National Touring Music Acts and Professional Athletes performing at BEYOND 2002 will be announced shortly after the Holiday season. The festival is being produced by Shutdown Productions, Inc.

Extreme Sports events will all be featuring professional athletes, regulation size courses or fields and will follow standard regulation rules. These fields will utilize approximately twenty acres of the waterside park Featured Extreme Sports will include Skateboarding, In-Line Skating, Free style BMX, Freestyle * Motto X Show, Snow Boarding (Ski jump into the water) and Paintball Competition.

Nationally touring music acts will perform simultaneously on five stages. The festival will feature music that complements the sports, and encompasses the following genres, Alternative Rock, Techno and Hip Hop. Other events include DJ Battle, MC Competition, B-Boy Competition (Break Dancing) and Live Aerosol Artists to paint graffiti murals.

According to the organizers, the City of Miami * has approved the location and BEYOND 2002 to admit a maximum audience of 65,000 people daily. Tickets will be available through Ticketmaster and at www.shutdownproductions.com. Advertisements are expected in extreme sports magazines and music publications.
